Field notes — week of Aug 26, 2024

This week we spent our time on digital twins, spatial computing and smart buildings and infrastructure. The recurring problem: rich physical assets exist, but the models describing them are static and drift out of date. The result is capital and attention spent without a compounding return. The answer is grounding: models tied to real data, not guesswork — which is our craft.
